We decided to have a look at the paitings of two famous artists. The first one is Franz Marc (1880 - 1916). Franz Marc was one of the key figures of the German Expressionist movement. His work is characterised by bright primary colour which makes it very attractive for children. We worked with the paintings "Kämpfende Farben", "Reh im Klostergarten" and "Springendes Pferd".
Very nice colors. It makes us feel happy! Noona ja Laura 5B, Finland
We also had a look at a painting by Emil Nolde (1867 - 1956). Nolde was also one of the first Expressionists and is known for his usage of watercolour. He had an intense preoccupation with the subject of flowers.
