Describe a picture - UK

Hylands House
One of the most well-known buildings in Chelmsford is in the middle of a big park.  It is a big, white country mansion.  The main part of the building has 3 floors and it has two wings either side of the main section.  The wings used to have 3 floors as well before the building was left to crumble.  Now each wing has just one storey, but has a steeply pitched grey roof on top.  The main part of the house has 8 tall rectangular windows with square panes on the second floor and 7 of these windows and a door on the ground floor.  The wing on the left hand side has 4 long, small paned windows and a door, whilst the wing on the right hand side has 5 long windows.  The main entrance to the house has a high porch build over it.  The roof of this is a triangle and it sits on top of 4 columns. There are also 4 columns by the windows on each wing. The windows on the 3rd floor, in the middle of the house, can only just be seen as they are in the roof section.  Right on top of the roof there are 8 chimneys.

Chelmsford Town Sign
Our town sign is right in the middle of the High Street.  It is a sort of square shape on a tall post. There is a shield with blue and white wavy lines at the bottom and a blue lion is holding the shield on either side.  The lions are holding a golden staff each. At the top of the shield it has a red strip with 3 symbols on it – a star, a cross and another star.  There is a knight’s silver helmet on top of the shield and two crossed axes above that with a sheaf of corn resting on them.  The shield and the lions are standing on a bridge with 3 arches.  Underneath the bridge it says ‘Many minds, one heart.’
